My crocheted blanket – coming along well!

FA Cup Fourth Round. Stoke-v-Arsenal. My first away game in this country. Not a great day, the highlight was the Bovril.
One of the squares I’ve made for the blanket square swap.
A random horse head! This was on the desk of another artist who shares the loft studio with me. Bizarre, but I like it.
This is one of the other spaces in the loft I share at the studios. It’s the first thing I see when I climb the stairs each morning, and it’s SO vibrant it always makes me smile.
Corynne Pless of Lilacfox.com kindly featured one of my Alice in Wonderland notebooks in her blog:
Her name was Lola… this unbelievably cute puppy belongs to one of my clients, and sadly both the client and the gorgeous Lola will be moving to Bolivia in a few weeks time!
Now, my studio is on an island, and is quiet and eerie and very dark at 6am. So you can imagine how I reacted when a headless shape loomed out of the darkness.
Finding out that it was a headless giant racoon didn’t do much to soothe me as I was then left wondering WHY it was there.
My first away game in the UK. Yeah. Not a good result, less said the better…
