Today’s photo is a shot of a book created this week. The cover features a postcard of “Monster Soup – commonly called Thames Water” which I purchased at the Wellcome Collection a couple of weeks ago. I love the image and the humour in it, and I thought the rich red complemented the artwork nicely.

A display from the Skin exhibition at the Wellcome Collection. It should be noted that I took this photograph before I saw a sign saying ‘no photography’
A weekend of museums…

A weekend spent entertaining Matt’s family. On the Friday we went to the Natural History Museum with his brother, sister-in-law and nephew (although I got there early and managed to fit in a quick visit to the V&A too). On the Sunday we went to the Wellcome Collection, which is an amazing place “for the incurably curious” – well worth a visit to see the permanent exhibits, as well as any temporary ones (such as Skin, which is brilliant but a little gruesome in places).
