Sometimes taking a short cut can lead you to things you wouldn’t normally have seen. I was cutting through the Wornington Estate, W10, and was delighted to find a colourful mural on The Hut, which is something to do with the Golborne Youth Team.

This is another great mural that I only found thanks to Ingress. It’s a little difficult to find as it’s round the side of a housing estate, but if you head for Grenfell Road, W11 (just a few minutes walk from Latimer Road) it’s currently tucked away next to a building site. This also made it a bit tricky to photograph, but here’s what I managed to get.

If you’re a regular reader of my blog you’ll know that there’s a spot just by Queens Park station that’s been changing hands between street artists for a while now. If you want to see previous work that’s been featured on that wall then click here. In August this gorgeous piece by @himbad_ turned up. A lovely splash of colour, I wonder how long it will be until it’s replaced by something else.

A couple of weeks ago I was asked to create a card with a simple lit candle to symbolise baby loss. The card has been delivered to the recipient now so I would like to share it with you. This was drawn with Derwent Graphitint on a Hahnemühle watercolour postcard.
