Street Art #133

This was taken months ago so I hope it’s still there.  I found it on the Brondesbury Villas (NW6) side of the Betsy Smith pub, just opposite Kilburn Post Office.  Artwork by Pegasus.

Well, tongue of frog at any rate.  After the Cluedo notebooks I made at the start of October I really had quite a yen for the deep yellow/light orange book cloth so I made some more books with it.  These feature faux apothecary labels (from a sheet of Bo Bunny scrapbook paper) inset in book cloth cover.  I love them, they’re just so fun!  Available in my Etsy shop.

I’ve not really painted anything for a while, unless you count my holiday sketchbook, but this week I got back into the saddle by starting an open-ended series of miniatures.

I’ve had a bit of a hiatus from blogging my street art collection, for no other reason than I’ve been a bit busy!  I’m ready to get back into the swing of it now though, so let’s kick things off with this piece that’s sprung up just round the corner from where I live.  You can find this on the corner of Kilburn Lane and Fifth Avenue (W10).  Art by Nil 227.

Summer is over and I’m back in the studio again, and this past week has been very productive!  First up we have six eyecatching notebooks that feature the character cards from a vintage Cluedo (Clue, for the Americans reading this) board game.  The covers have been made using a vibrant deep yellow book cloth, so these books have a certain tactile appeal as well as being very bright!
