I launched my Giniatures print just over a week ago, and it’s done very well so far.  Quite a few A5 prints sold, a special request for an A4 sized one, and even a couple of notebook commissions.  So I thought this was a good time to show off some photos.  First up we have photos sent in by a customer, of her trying her gin print out against different walls (and discovering how difficult it is to photograph something that’s fronted with glass – reflections ahoy!).

After some dithering on my part I finally decided on my ideal frame choice (this particular one is from Cox & Cox).

Last, but certainly not least, we have one of the specially commissioned books (the other is basically the same, but a larger size).  Made to order, please contact me for details.

I adore looking at prints but rarely buy them as we just don’t have room to display them, and won’t until we redecorate the entire flat (which, in turn, has to wait until our loft is converted, if it ever is…).  Lately, though, I’ve been more and more tempted and last week I gave in and bought a small one.

It’s from Standard Designs on Etsy and it made me really laugh out loud when I saw it so I had to have it.  It’ll have to be stashed away until a time when it can be displayed properly, but it makes me feel good to know that it’s here.

There are some others which I really want and which I might have to give in and buy very soon.  Let’s start with these by Mistah.

I’ve mentioned these before (here) and they’ve been playing on my mind ever since then so I think I’ll have to start budgeting for them…

This print, “Impatient” by Julien Denoyer, also made me laugh, and I’m tempted to put this one on the wall of my studio.

You’ll need to click here and view the Etsy listing for this London Type Map by Bold & Noble, because I’ve only shown a little snippet of it above.  It’s an incredibly detailed piece and it will be mine one day.  Oh yes it will.

I’ve got a few more stashed away in my favourites, but I’m not entirely certain that I’d buy them (I like them, a lot, but I don’t think I’d want to look at them every day, if you know what I mean!) so they’ve not made it onto this list.  I’m hoping to visit more art fairs and exhibitions this year so who knows what else I may discover…
